Yes I was at the opening of a new shop in Lakeside call Snogurt where frozen yogurt can be found! Calling all health freak or weight cautious people, this is a place for you to hang out! This amazing desert is only 99% calories!
The founders of Snogurt were there too! I got the chance to speak to them because they nice enough to greet me when I walked in. Mr Yap and Mr Lau was friendly and funny which makes the whole convo light and not cocky. I even have friends re-tweet me and say that the bosses of snogurt are very friendly. :) Good sign.
What snoggy are you?
Many flavors are available in snogurt but in one day, they are only able to create 6 flavors due to the limitation of the machines. Though, those common favorite flavors will be consistent while some special flavors will be changed accoding to season.
For the opening in Lakeside, the 6 flavors are:

As you can see, there's so many to choose from. One very obvious winning point is that their fruits and other toppings are extremely fresh! I remember picking strawberries and I am utmost impressed that ever strawberries are in perfect shape and condition. I had a glance over the peach area and is looking great as well! I am sure for most people, if the fruits do not look fresh, tendency you will not even reach out for it. I also like the fact that they took notice that many people loves Oreo cookies, it is one unavoidable topping. Thus, they had crushed oreo as well as oreo chunks prepared! PLUS POINT!!!
JQ's Snoggy: The making...
When it's a hands on project, I am terrible at art. Thus, the thought of preparing a decent looking Snoggy is not my forte. So bear with me!
I was given a briefing before starting of with my not-so-creative fingers. It is actually very simple because everything you need to do is all listed in 4 simple steps on the wall. So here goes....
Step 1: Grab a cup of course!
Step 2: Choose your flavours and start filling your cups up! :D
Step 3: Choose your Toppings!
Step 4: Weigh it!
And Wah-La!!!!!!!
You got your fresh fat-free frozen yogurt dessert with amazing toppings done! Easy right?
Fun fact of Snogurt:
- All ingredients are imported from Itally.
- Very clean environment. (very cool hang out spot!)
- Machines are cleaned twice a day. (one hour for each)
- Staffs are friendly!
- It's pink! (haha, this is just for me)
