Dress to Kill

Man, I have been busy with my assignments that I wasn't aware with what's happening with Taylor's recently (I'm on holidays now).

One of my assignments

Apparently, there will be a dress code from 1st of July onwards.

You know those drill. No shorts, no slippers, no spaghetti straps, blah blah blah. And the students were clearly unimpressed with it. So unimpressed 'til the extent of creating a group in Facebook.

Yes, there's such group in Facebook. -____-

As to date, there are 272 students (officially) declared themselves against this whole dress code issue. One Eu-Roy Lai commented about it:

Even if the rules were in the rulebook, TUC did not enforce it before, and they then suddenly force us to oblige to it now? Your asking us to see it from TUC's pov, what about you seeing it from our points?
Its like if theres a rule forbidding us from saying obscene language from the start, and wasn't enforced and then suddenly implemented now.
Heck, i'm already so used to saying ''fuck'' i cant just stop saying ''fuck'' right? fuck! :(
Thus, this group for us students to try and figure a way to fight for what we think is right.
Rules are made, but that doesn't mean they're not supposed to be changed! The Americans had the articles of confederation but it wasn't suitable. what happened? the new constitution with its AMENDMENTS! FOR GOD'S SAKE!
Heck, don't even know why i bother explaining it to people where this rule does not apply to.

Well, at least look at the bright side, Eu-Roy Lai. They are not making us wear chastity belt what. And when I read about it, it reminds of the dress code controversy in UUIM (read about it at here and here).

Now there's only 4 days left before 1st of July comes. I'm really interested to know what will happen on that day.

*Sigh* Too bad I'm on holidays right now. If not, I can join into the commotion. XD

Yakitate!! Brioche

brioche (brē-ôsh', -ōsh')
n.

A soft, light-textured bread made from eggs, butter, flour, and yeast and formed into a roll or a bun.

Now I know what 'brioche' in 'Le Brioche' means. XD

Le Brioche @ Taylor's Pastry Corner is a small shop located just beside the mamak stall in LCS (if you're wondering which mamak stall, it's the one which serve Western food). The tiny pastry corner is, I believe, ran by students of Taylor's School of Hospitality and Tourism.

I always want to go in there (especially after the huge influence of Yakitate!! Japan), but it always seems that it's either I'm freaking busy with my assignments, or it closed when I wanted to go. But finally, when I went there last Thursday, I was not busy and it's not closed. :D

I bought myself 3 pieces of croissants at the price RM1.

CHEAP! - the only word which I could think of to describe it.

Well, I have never enjoy being a laboratory mice, but the temptation of RM1 for 3 was simply too hard to resist. Especially when my wallet is undergoing recession.

And like before, the theory 'laboratory mice' was proven wrong once again because the croissants weren't half-bad. In fact, they were good. Heck, it was really good. So good that I....

I....

I....

JA-PAN!! (You won't get it if you never read Yakitate!! Japan)

Note: For more information of Le Brioche, visit this blog. Oh, that reaction was supposedly to be the reaction for the 'Sushi-style Melon Ja-pan' and not '324-Layer Croissant Ja-pan'. But heck, who cares? :P
