U Residence

I believe I have not really talk about our Taylor's University Lakeside Campus Residential call the U Residence. If you are an international student and you don't know anyone here in Malaysia, the best choice you have to temporarily stay in a place would be staying within the campus. Just take the minimum contract while you get settle, learn about our transportation system and the people here.

The best thing about staying in campus while you get settle is no hassling on wondering how you are going to get to campus? and trust me, whenever there is super long break time, you will appreciate that your room is just walking distance away.

• Access card system to control access to certain blocks
• 24-hour security surveillance system
• Trained live-in residence officers to help students, especially in the case of emergencies
• Residence Customer Service Centre to assist students and parents on all residence matters
• Housekeeping services for all common areas are provided
• Housekeeping for individual units can be made available upon request, based on separate arrangements
• Maintenance services to rectify any maintenance issues
• Located above the Boardwalk – 2 storeys of shops offering food and beverage, stationeries, banking, entertainment, health & fitness, laundry services, money exchange and a post office.
• Daily shuttle service transports students to the Subang Jaya campus, Sunway Pyramid and Setiajaya KTM station.

I understand sometimes parents would like to tag along for a few days to see Malaysia and of course, make sure that their children is well taken care here. What Taylor's Lakeside did was having Ruemz Hotel. I gotten a tour of the hotel and it look pretty good. It is comparable to other classy hotels out there. It would be easier if your parents stayed in Taylor's hotel. :)

Ruemz Hotel
Next to U Residences and Board Walk is a chic and modern boutique hotel known as the Ruemz Hotel. Available for public bookings, the hotel has a lobby and 7 floors with 80 single and twin-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms, and one connecting room on every floor for families. There is also a restaurant serving meals throughout the day and a 24-hour mini mart. Ruemz Hotel is operated by a group of full-time employees and selected students from the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts.
